The AntyOksy Project by Professor A. Włodyka-Bergier, financed by NCBiR

We are very glad to inform you that the staff members of our faculty received funds from the National Centre of Research and Development (Polish: Narodowego Centrum Badań i Rozwoju – NCBiR) for the project: „Innovative technology of the production of anti-oxidant drinks as a chance to improve mental and physical condition of the society” (acronym: AntyOksy), which shall be carried out in the framework of the contest: „NUTRITECH – nutrition facing the challenges to improve the well-being of the society and climate changes”. We are not specialists in nutrition, but we know technological processes very well, thus, in the consortium of AGH-UST and Tymbark-MWS sp. z o.o. (Maspex Group) we join our efforts and we will work on the technology of the production of anti-oxidant drinks with pro-health properties.

The leader of this research-development project is Agnieszka Włodyka-Bergier, Ph. D. Sc., Academic Professor, Eng., the founder of know-how of the production of such drinks. From the side of our Faculty the project shall be supported by Paweł Ćwiąkała, Ph. D. Sc., Academic Professor, Eng. As the manager of the project and technology broker, Zbigniew Kowalewski, Ph. D., Eng. and Robert Mazur, Ph. D. as specialists in technology, Marta Nowak-Bator and Maciej Słoboda as laboratory analysts and Agnieszka Chudziak as administrative worker.

The project shall last 30 months, and its total budget is PLN 7 549 338.79. The stages carried out at out Faculty shall last 2 years and we have PLN 3 750 941.08 to spend.

We believe that anti-oxidant drinks produced with our technology will soon be available in every shop.
