Erasmus + also includes visits of the Faculty staff in other countries

On 6-10.06.2022 the staff members of the Faculty of Geo-data Science, Geodesy, and Environmental Engineering: Jarosław Bydłosz, Ph.D. Sc., Eng., Department of Photogrammetry,Remote Sensing of Environment and Spatial Engineering and. Anita Kwartnik-Pruc, Ph.D. Sc., Eng., Department of Engineering Surveying and Civil Engineering visited the Oradea University (Universitatea din Oradea) in Romania, in the framework of the Erasmus+. The University is situated in a beautiful city of Oradea, near the Romanian-Hungarian border. The city is more than 1000 years old. Over this long history, the city changed the sovereignty several times. It used belong to Hungarian duchies or kingdoms, then Romania.

The Oradea University has fifteen Faculties, including the Oradea University, Faculty of Construction, Cadastre and Architecture (Facultatea de Construcții, Cadastru și Arhitectură), where students study (among others) surveying. This faculty is situated in other place than the main university buildings.

Co-operation with the Oradea University has been going on since 2019, but in 2020-2021 it was limited due to the pandemics. During their stay Jarosław Bydłosz, Ph.D. Sc., Eng., and Anita Kwartnik-Pruc, Ph.D. Sc., Eng. carried out the classes with the student of engineer’s studies and had many conversations with the Faculty staff, first of all representing the Department of the Cadastre. The objective of the conversations was to intensify scientific and didactic co-operation.
