Webpage presenting preliminary results of the IDUB funded grant ‘The integration of remote sensing data for the purposes of controlling direct subsidies for agriculture’, principal investigator prof. B. Hejmanowska

Geoinformation, Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing of Environment Working Group realize one of the university grants IDUB – the project named “Integration of remote sensing data for control in the system of direct agricultural subsidies (IACS – Integrated Administration Control System)”.

The possibilities of distinguishing crops using Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 satellite images are being investigated. Analyzes are made based on classification of crops performed on the time series of the Normalized Differential Vegetation Index (NDVI) and the backscattering factor (Sigma). Partial results show an example of the correctness of the differentiation of rape, visualized with the idea of ​​"traffic lights".
